We automatically collect and store the following information about your visit: the name of the domain from which you access the Internet; the date and time you access our site; the pages you visit within our site; and the Internet address of the site from which you linked directly to our site. We collect this information to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful to visitors. This information helps us create summary statistics, which we use for such purposes as assessing what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas. We may be required to identify individual users or their usage habits as part of authorized law enforcement investigations. The Government also may monitor and audit usage of this website as more fully explained below under “Security Notification.”

Online Transactions and Mailing Lists

We don't require you to provide any personal information to access our website or to use most of our services. We retain and use this information to process and verify your order. Disclosure of the information we request is voluntary, but if you don't provide the information, you will be unable to order materials or join our email list.

You may also add your contact information to our email list, either by indicating that you want to be on the email list when you order materials or by submitting a separate form requesting inclusion on our email list. We retain and use email list information only to send you these emails. You may email us at any time to remove your name from the email list or to change and update your personal information.

To ensure the security and confidentiality of personally identifiable information, we use security software to prevent unauthorized access, and conduct periodic tests of security safeguards.

We do not rent, give, sell, or transfer personal information to third parties, unless required by law.

Mobile Applications

The U.S. Currency Education Program owns two mobile applications available to the public, Money Adventure and Cash Assist.  When you use any mobile application provided by the U.S. Currency Education Program, certain information will be gathered and stored about your usage of the app.  We also receive aggregate data from the platforms that distribute our apps (currently the iOS Apple App Store and the Google Play Store), such as the number of people who download the App and mobile set-up information (for example, device model, App version, country, language, and mobile carrier). None of the information gathered and stored about your usage of either Money Adventure or Cash Assist identifies you personally.
